September 4 -23, 2018 Solo exhibit – Patterns of Our Land: Landscape Paintings by Tatjana Mirkov-Popovicki, Silk Purse Arts Center, West Vancouver. Opening Reception – Tuesday, September 4, 6-8pm.

October 22, 2018 – January 2, 2019,  My snowy paintings have been selected by the Art in the Venue for exhibition at the Waterfront Theatre Gallery on Granville Island in Vancouver, BC. 

November 2018 – A two-day workshop in North Vancouver, BC, hosted by the North Shore Artists’ Guild – stay tuned for details!

Recent Events:

Nov 16 – Dec 16 Anonymous Art Show by the North Vancouver Arts Council. More than 700 paintings were available for purchase in a Fundraiser event for the local art community. My painting Garibaldi Patterns isn’t available anymore – it has found a permanent home!

Dec 11 – 22  Federation of Canadian Artists annual Senior Signature Members Show. My two paintings, Rock Isle Lake and Purcell Patterns were in this show.

October  Fundraiser, to support the construction of a state-of-the-art Sensory Stimulation Room, Laurel Place, 9688 137a St, Surrey, BC V3T 4H9, Canada. Arbutus Spring has been successfully auctioned out and I am thrilled that my art brought funds to this worthy cause.

Sep 26 – Oct 8 ‘Acrylics in Action’ group art exhibit at the Federation Gallery, Granville Island, Vancouver, BC. Griffin House View and Little Zig Zag Falls were a part of the exhibit, and the Little Zig Zag Falls found a home in Ontario!

Aug 16 – Sep 2  Solo Exhibition and sale of landscape paintings inspired by mountains of British Columbia, in the beautiful  Studio Connexion Gallery in Nakusp, BC. Thank you to all the visitors and to the charming gallerista, for the wonderful experience and for sending my paintings to their new homes!

 

Aug 4 – 26 Group Show, Maryhill Museum of Art, Goldendale, WA. I am fortunate to have been selected to participate in the Pacific Northwest Plein Air 2017 .  Press release

June 13 – 25 Group Show, West Coast Homeland! The Beaumont Gallery, Vancouver, BC.  Grateful to the lovely venue and new art friends!

April 1-30 – solo exhibit of paintings with motifs of the southern BC coast, Port Moody Public Library. Thank you to the City of Port Moody and to the library staff for this wonderful opportunity for my art to be seen in this modern space full of light.

March – West Vancouver Coast painting has been accepted by the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, an art collection with a great cause!

March – Lando Gallery Edmonton, AB – March Group Selling Exhibition – Featuring works by Nancy Day, Tatjana Mirkov – Popovicki and Waclaw Pietucha. It is always a great pleasure to have my art featured in this gorgeous gallery space.

January 14 – Artist in Residence and exhibit of new paintings inspired by Whistler –  The Crystal Lodge Art Gallery, Whistler, BC.  Huge thank you to the art-loving visitors and gallery staff.
